• What are the rental rates?

  • The basic rental rate is $135/day.   There is also a demo rate of $60/4 hours.  For details, click here.

• Are there special weekend/weekly rates?

  • Yes!  You can view the rental packages by clicking here.

• What if it rains?

  • Unfortunately, because the bike is still in your possession, regular charges still apply. There are no discounts for rain days. If you have a reservation that ends on a day when it's raining, you will be charged appropriate late fees if you keep the bike beyond your reserved days. Remember, the bike may be reserved for shortly after your return; please be considerate of those renting after you.

• Is the rental rate eligible for a H.O.G. discount?

  • Unfortunately, at this time, we are not offering discounts of any kind to be applied toward H-D Rentals.

• How can I make a reservation?

  • You can contact us directly at 732-381-2400, option 2.  You can also request a reservation by clicking here and filling out the form.  Please note -- this is to request a reservation.  You will not have a confirmed reservation until given one by a Rental Associate.

• What are the requirements for rentals?

  • In order to rent from Liberty Harley-Davidson, you must be 21 or older; possess a credit card in your own name, with a credit limit high enough to cover the cost of the rental plus the security deposit, and a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement.

• Is there an age restriction?

  • You must be 21 or older.  Please note, there is a surcharge for any renter under the age of 26 of $20/day.

• Is there a mileage restriction for rentals?

  • There is no mileage restriction.  You are, however, required to remain within the Continental U.S. and Canada.

• What items are included in the rental?

  • Included with the rental price is the Rental Price, up to two helmets, up to two sets of rain gear, a cable lock to secure the bike, 24 hour Roadside Assistance, and any items stock to the specific model rented.

• Are there additional accessories available for the rental bikes?

  • Yes!  For a small additional fee, you may add detachable passenger backrests for Road King and Fat Boy models, windshields for V-Rod and Wide Glide models, SAC Luggage for Wide Glide, Road King and Heritage Softail Classic models.

• Can I use a check/money order to rent a Harley?

  • You may make your final payment with cash or a money order, however, we must still swipe a credit card and authorize the amount of the security deposit and rental.  This authorization will be cleared upon return of the motorcycle in the same condition as when it left if you choose to use another method of payment.

• Can I use a Check Card for a rental?

  • No.  A check card is NOT a credit card.  Any card linked to a checking/bank account will not be accepted as it cannot be authorized.  There will be no exceptions to this rule!

• Can I use my spouse/parent/friend's credit card?

  • The name on the card should match the name of the primary driver's license.  However, under certain circumstances a third party may pay for the rental, but this person must be present at the time of check out to sign additional documentation.

• I don't have a credit card.  Can I still rent a Harley from Liberty?

  • If someone is willing to pay for your rental, you must have them present their card at time of check out, and sign additional documentation.

• What if my credit limit is not high enough?

  • Your credit card must have a limit high enough to authorize the security deposit plus the amount of the rental for the duration, in addition to any optional insurance you may request.  If your card's credit limit cannot allow for this, it cannot be accepted as payment.  Under no circumstances can we swipe more than one card - the entire payment must be on ONE card.

• Can I purchase additional insurance?

  • Yes!  Liberty Rentals offers several insurance options and waivers to further protect yourself.  Supplemental Liability and Personal Accident and Property are both available, as well as a Loss Damage Waiver and Tire Protection Plan.  For pricing, please contact our Rental Representatives at 732-381-2400, option 2.

• What is the longest rental duration available?

  • We currently offer a 4 week (28 day) rental.  For pricing, click here.

• How can I rent a Harley and share it with a friend?

  • Additional drivers must be present at check out to sign additional documentation.

• Can I rent more than one bike during one rental?

  • For our Demo rate, you may try several models as long as it does not extend beyond the 4 hour rate.

• I have an International Driver's License. Can I rent a Harley?

  • You must possess a driver's license from your country of origin, and it must have English verbiage for the motorcycle endorsement.

• I want to buy a Bike Rental for a gift for a friend.  How can I pay for him?

  • You can purchase a Gift Certificate for a rental, however, he must still present a credit card at time of rental for authorization of the security deposit and fees.  This authorization will be removed from his card at time of check in, providing the bike is in the same condition as when it left, and final payment will be with a Gift Certificate.

• Can I purchase a Gift Certificate for rentals?

  • Yes!  You can come down to Liberty and the Rental Representative will be happy to assist you.
